I have been in love with Jazz since my early adult years. I search for jazz works that push the music and conceptual borders, the answer is Bop, developed in the late 1940's to now. The music challenges what to expect. This has lead to a strong sense of empathy for the ground breaking concepts and the honest re-interpretation of the boundaries they pushed. These painting reflect that challenge and the feelings produced is expounded in the colours, gestures and shapes.
